My Izzy is 2!

So my little Isabelle Gwynn turned two on Dec 4. I really cannot believe that it has already been two years. I was only 8 weeks pregnant with her when we moved to Logan.

Some of my favorite things about Izzy:
1. When she prayers for Mason she says "Buddies"
2. She askes "Is it cute?" after I do her hair
3. She loves to sing Popcorn Popping
4. She loves nursery
5. Her giggle
6. She askes to go to bed
7. She always says sorry even if she is the one her is hurt. Notice the food on her face. Classic Izzy
8. She loves to watch movies with her buddies
9. She wants to go potty in the big potty
10. She answers "I love you" to the question "Guess what?"

That is just 10 of the many things I love about Izzy. On her birthday we just hung out and played with her. For dinner we went to Chilis, I know not McDonalds, but her and Mason had a blast being able to go out for dinner with mommy and daddy. Later we had some friends over, Jana, Dan, Tyler, Kaylee, Audrey, JR, Josie, and Layla. We had cake and ice cream. Izzy was so excited about everything. Audrey bought her a little crown, tutoo, bowa, and shoes. Izzy loves the crown. We had a cars pinata which they thought was awesome.

On Friday Mike and Tiffany came over and gave Mason the movie Wall-e and Izzy some adorable shirts. One of the shirts says Princess on it and now everytime she wears that shirts she says "princess shirt." Mason and Izzy have watched the movie about a 100 times, but I have managed to not watch it all the way through.

I am so thankful for my Izzy and the little spirit she brings to our home.

Yes I bought this cake it was delicious

TWILIGHT!!!!!!!

Last night I went to the Twilight movie. It was freakin awesome. I won't say much about the movie because I don't want o spoil anything for anyone who wants to see and hasn't. I went with my friends Audry, Jana, and Shauna. We had so much fun. The theater was full and the audience was very loud, everyone was so excited for the movie. On the best parts people made so much noise that it almost ruined the moment, but not quite. I loved it and I'm going again next Wednesday with my sisters Janae and Julie.

On the way home we were in Jana's van and she has the backseat out and so I sat in a car seat. Jana and Shauna thought that is was hilarious so they took pictures. After the movie we went to Arby's and sat and discussed what we wished was in the movie and what we thought. I pretty sure the general consencous was that we loved it.

Me in the car seat HA HA! By the way they had an amazing preview for the new Harry Potter movie. It looks so good.

Happy Birthday, Mason!

Today was Mason's 3rd birthday. I can't believe he is already 3 and in January he will be a Sunbeam. I still look at him and can't believe he is mine. He is one of the greatest blessings in my life. He got a little teeball set and much needed clothes. for those of you who haven't seen him in person he is the skinniest kid in the world. He wears a 2T and we still have to roll his pants to make them fit. It is a challenge.

Last year on his birthday Mason only had 10 teeth could say a few sentences and loved the movie Cars. This year he finally has all his teeth including his 2 year molers and talks so fast that only Rob and I can understand him. He has many favorite movies now including Toy Story (and beyond), Princess (Little Mermaid, Cinderella), Peter Pan, and Bow chicka wow wow (Alvin and the Chipmunks). We took him to McDonalds for lunch and he had of course chicken nuggets. We were going to just have ice cream cones, but as we were trying to get Mason to tell us what he wanted for dinner he kept saying "birthday." We could not understand what he was saying then I asked him if he wanted a cake and he said "Yeah birthday." So at 5:40 we threw a cake together and had cake and ice cream. He loved it and that is all that matters. His uncle Mike (Rob's brother) came over, and Audrey Josie and Layla, Tyler Kayley Dan and Jana came as well. We sang happy birthday and he always sings with us for himself. We ahd lots of fun. Again I can't believe he is already 3.

Halloween 2008

Halloween was a blast. We had so much fun trick-or-treating. Our ward decided last year that they wouldn't do anymore trunk or treating. Since our church building is in our neighborhood they decided it would be better to just go trick or treating to peoples houses. I mean we literally could walk to church and hardly anyone in my ward drives. It just doesn't make much since to not just go house to house.

Mason loved it. He would say trick or treat before anyone even answered the doors. Then he would say it again. He was funny because people would bend over to give him candy and he would see how much they had and didn't understand why they wouldn't give him more. He always said thank you and absolutly loved it. Isabelle just followed his lead. She would say trick or treat or something that sounded like it. She didn't really understand the whole candy in the pumpkin thing. She would take the candy and then she would put it in her pumpkin. We took the stroller with us because we wanted to finish before midnight. Everytime we would put the kids in the stroller and go to the next house they would just look in their pumpkins in awe at how much candy they were getting.

We had to take Izzy's pumpkin home and empty it partially so she could keep going. After trick or treating we went over to Jana's house and she took pictures of the kids in their costumes. After that we went to our friend Audrey's house and visited. We couldn't not let Audrey see the kids in their costumes. Then Mason Izzy and Josie (Audrey's daughter) went to a few more houses in her neighborhood. We were out for a long time and when we got home Izzy was out of her costume before we even walked in the door. We all had so much fun. It is one of our favorite times of the year.

Kacey and Wyatt

So my sister Joanne sent me this picture of some of the cutest kids in the world. Kacey turned 6 in October and I cannot believe that she is already 6. I remember when she turned 3. I was living in Las Vegas that year and I had given her a Finding Nemo sleeping bag. Kacey went through a Nemo stage and wanted everything that had to do with Nemo. Anyways, when she opened the sleeping bag she got so excited that we seriously thought she was going to cry. I miss spending so much time with them.

You may also be wondering who the other little one is in this picture. That is Wyatt. He just turned 2 and is probably one of the funniest kids to watch in the world. He can be a little terror I hear, but we love him tons.

I love my family and think that all my nephews and nieces are the cutest kids on the planet. I just had to share this picture I love them and miss them always.

Halloween 2007

So today I was looking at old pictures of my kids on the computer screen saver and the pictures of Halloween came up. It is always fun to go back to what was going on last year at this time. Mason and Isabelle were Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Mason was absolutely in love with Mickey Mouse. They both wore the costumes really good. It tends to be freezing in Logan this time of year so we always have to prepare and put clothes under their costumes. Some of you may ask where I got these adorable costumes. For my family you have three guesses and the first two don't count. For everyone else Joanne my amazing sis. She sends me costumes almost every year. This year Mason is going to be Nemo (Kacey's costume at age 3) and Izzy is going to be a Kitty. They already love to put their costumes on and i am excited to take them Trick or Treating.

Finally a blogger

I decided that I would try to set up a blog. I don't think I will be very good at it, but I love to look at others and it looks kind of fun.

Our little family is doing pretty good. Robert is studying hard in school and is trying to just make it through Calculus. For those of you who don't know Rob is studying at Utah State University and is hoping to, in the end, have an MBA. His BS will be in Buisness Marketing. He likes school and he getting better at the whole juggling school work and family.

Mason Robert (almost 3), now he is such a fun, crazy, lovable, and energized boy. He is so smart and surprised me every day with a new word or sentence. Lately his favorite line is "What's going on here." He will walk into a room and even though nothing is out of the ordinary he will ask me "What's going on here." I love to talk to him. My favorite thing to ask him is Guess what. It usually goes
- ME: "Mason, guess what"
-Mason: "I wuv you"

I taught him this purly for the selfish reason to him say I love you. His favorite Movie lately is really any movie I will let him watch. His favorite toy of course, is his lighting McQueen cars. He even has to go to bed with them. We love to watch him learn and play.

Now there is Isabelle Gwynn (almost 2). She has one heck of a personality. Those of you who have known me most of my life know that I grew up with the nickname "Woman." I have been told it is because when I was little I walked around like I was 3 going on 26. Well, we have decided that Isabelle may inherit that nickname. She strutts around the house like she is the boss (for the most she is). She talks a ton. It is amazing how different your kids can be. One of the cutest things she askes is:
I love to do her hair and when I am done she will point to her hair and ask "Is it cute?" Of course I always tell her yes.
Isabelle loves everything that Mason loves. And she especially loves her "Buddies" ( that is what she calls him). She even gets mad if she has to go to bed before him and wakes up and wants to give him kisses. Izzy's favorite movie would have to be Peter Pan, although I don't think she has seen past the first 15 minutes. She is so much fun.

As for me, I love being "Mommy." I stay home and play mom all day. I have done a ton of ready and recently joined a bookclub in our nieghborhood. I am a fan of the Twilight series and have been reading a ton of Nicholas Sparks books, and love them. I'm not very good at introducing myself to people, therefore I don't know many of my nieghbors, but now that they have split our ward and they are now in my ward I'm sure that will change.
I have been working on losing weight and have come to love running. I never knew why people could run for fun, but I do now. I have worked really hard and am able to run pretty good and it is kind of empowering.

I hope to become better at this blogging thing and love reading all yours.
